What makes you think of Africa??

Im drawing a picture...a collage really and i need some ideas! I have a giraffe, an umbrella thorn tree, and a kente quilt as the border...so give me some ideas please....thanks so much!!

What makes you think of Africa??
Tie-dyed Dashikis, those gorgeous dresses, and the head gear. The darker your skin the more fabulous you look in those wonderful colors.





Also smiles. I never knew an African who didn't look for an opportunity to smile. Yes I know there is soo much that people think of when they think of Africa, but there it is. Turbans on the women, those small caps on the men and generally in bright colors rather than the whites you get in the middle east.

Reply:When I think of Africa, I think of a huge sunset with Giraffes 'n' elephants runnimg past, Deserts with snakes in them, the artwork that comes from Africa too. Try to make your picture look like it is boiling hot there. Do like they do on T.v 'n' film where as it goes further back it goes all blurry and wavey. Cheetahs aswell...cute baby cheetahs.
Reply:The shape of it!!!!! Find an online atlas and copy a few pictures of Africa and glue them on your collage.
