What kind of tree is this?

I live in Southern Indiana. There is a tree that I have seen in yards that I love. It is not very tall, weeps %26amp; has the most twisted gnarly trunk I have ever seen. In the winter the brances hang down to the ground, they are very thin almost like vines %26amp; in the spring people sometimes cut the branches short to look like an umbrella. I do not think it produces flowers, just beautiful green leaves.

What kind of tree is this?
i would say weeping willow except for the twisted trunk. that being said it could possibly be a contorted filbert, or twisted contorted filbert
Reply:Sounds like a weeping willow tree.
